Methamphetamine Seized, 3 Arrested

Three Oxnard residents were arrested after deputies found more than a pound of methamphetamine and $10,000 in cash in a car, authorities said Wednesday.
Arturo Arellano, 39, Maria Villegas, 56, and Flor Del Angel, 57, were taken into custody late Monday after being pulled over near California 118 and Nardo Street in Saticoy, said Ventura County Sheriff’s Senior Deputy Richard Barrios Jr.
In addition to the drugs, which deputies said were valued at about $7,500, a loaded gun was also seized, Barrios said.
All three suspects were released and told to appear at court hearings later this month, a deputy at the jail said Wednesday night.
