The Planning Commission tonight will hear testimony from Cox Communications and residents of Preciados Drive regarding the cable company’s unmanned equipment facility at 26852 Preciados Drive.
Residents have complained that Cox employees are performing maintenance and working at the site on a regular basis, creating excessive noise that is a nuisance.
Community development officials have recommended that the Planning Commission allow each side to explain its position and continue the item until December to allow more time to study the impact of the increased activity at the station.
The Planning Commission meets today at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 25909 Pala.
