Santa Paula Teen Is Found Shot

A 17-year-old Santa Paula resident was found outside his house Friday with a gunshot wound to his stomach, authorities said.
The youth apparently had run to his home on Steckel Drive after being shot, authorities said.
The mother called police after finding the boy about 5:30 p.m., but details of the shooting are not known, authorities said. The shooting, however, was not self-inflicted, authorities added.
The teen was taken to Santa Paula Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition Friday night.
