Taft’s Reed Takes the Fast Track to Washington State

Senior Erin Reed of Taft High, one of the top sprinters in the City Section, has signed a national letter of intent to attend Washington State.

Reed, who competes in the 200 and 400 meters, said Friday she selected the Cougars over Cal State Northridge and Nevada Las Vegas.

“It was really between Washington State and Cal State Northridge,” she said.

“I finally decided last week.”
