* AML Communications Inc. in Camarillo has appointed Kevin Pietramala vice president of sales and marketing.
Kirk Waldron, AML’s president and chief executive, said the appointment will give him more time to focus on the execution of AML’s strategic objectives.
An industry veteran with extensive experience in the global wireless sector, Pietramala most recently served as director of sales and marketing for Microwave Power Devices Inc., a direct competitor of AML.
During his tenure there, he was part of a team that helped the company’s revenue grow from approximately $27 million in 1995 to $70 million in 1999.
AML designs amplifiers and related products for the global wireless industry.
