The students who crowd the Dana Hills High School parking lot on weekdays can soon look forward to at least a little relief in the form of 28 street parking spaces.
The City Council unanimously decided Tuesday to change the striping along Stonehill Drive near the crowded campus to create the additional spaces in an effort to address the growing concerns about the parking shortage at the city’s only high school.
The street will be restriped between streets of the Golden Lantern and Blue Lantern to create the spaces without reducing the number of lanes on the thoroughfare.
