Cruisin’ for a Bruisin’

Thank God most travelers do not share the attitude of Edna M. Tobias, who complained about having to put up with senior citizen and disabled travelers on a recent cruise (“Cruising Companions,” Letters, Dec. 12). Her disregard for others older and less able than herself is shameful. How ironic that she closes her letter by saying, “I would hope that once we enter our twilight years, we can objectively evaluate our capacity to participate in global travel unselfishly.” So only the young and fully able deserve to experience the joys of travel? Sounds pretty selfish to me.
