Time for Tea
In Los Angeles, coffee might be king, but tea is gaining ground. Some say it’s more refined than coffee, more subtle in its flavors and more suited for relaxation.
While you can stop in any coffee shop and enjoy a hot cup of Lipton, now there are dozens of places throughout the city that have made tea their specialty. And when accompanied by a plate of finger sandwiches or a basket of dim sum, tea becomes an event.
Calendar Live takes a break from the usual cafe latte and visits several local favorite tea spots, from Manhattan Beach to Woodland Hills to Glendale. Thirsty anyone?
Cross-Country Skiing
