* The first George Genovese Games, named after the long-time baseball scout from the San Fernando Valley, is Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at Biola College in La Mirada.
The event brings together 80 high school seniors from around Los Angeles to play in two games in front of college and professional scouts. Information: (818) 222-1617.
EQUESTRIAN
* La Reina High, with 365 points, won the third Interscholastic Equestrian League meet on Saturday at Atlasta Ranch in Newhall.
Agoura was the reserve champion with 253 points, while La Reina won the varsity and freshman titles. Viewpoint won the junior varsity competition and La Canada took novice honors.
Katie Gardner of La Reina won varsity high-point honors, Brittany Kahan of Agoura took the junior varsity title, Laura Gladwin of Agoura and Stephanie Cross of La Canada tied for freshman honors and Dawn Darling of La Canada earned the novice award.
