Panel Seeks to Scale Back Redevelopment Plan

PACOIMA — Members of a citizens panel called Monday for further scaling back a proposed redevelopment area for the northeast San Fernando Valley by eliminating portions of Pacoima, Lake View Terrace and Sylmar.
Faced with the new proposal, the Project Area Committee voted Monday to delay action on a previous motion to cut the proposed 6,835-acre area in half.
