Justin Shagrin of Calabasas matched a school record with his seventh field goal Friday.

Shagrin, who lost his footing on a 22-yard kick earlier against Malibu, converted from 36 yards on his next try to match the record set by Damon McLaren in 1995 and matched by David Rosenberg in 1997.

“He got smarter on the second one,” Coach Larry Edwards said.

Shagrin is seven of 10 on field goals.
