A group of students from Dana Hills High School returned this week from a six-day marine biology excursion in Northern California.
The students explored four ecosystems along 500 miles of coastline from El Capitan Beach to Morro Bay. They visited Monterey’s Cannery Row, Point Lobos State Reserve and Big Sur.
The trip was led by teachers Dolores Dang, Kathryn Glover, Randy Hudson, Erik Smith, Rick Stinson and Mike Sullivan. The teens paid for the trip through fund-raising events.
