Festival Seeks Young Playwrights’ Work

Playwrights 19 years old or younger are invited to submit original plays or musicals to the Blank Theatre Company’s ninth annual Young Playwrights Festival through Sunday.
Winning plays in the nationwide competition will be presented by professional actors and directors in June in Los Angeles.
One or more winners may be given a full-scale production on the Blank Theatre’s main stage.
Playwrights may submit up to three plays of any length on any subject; pages must be numbered and submitted unbound; submissions must be postmarked by Sunday.
A cover sheet must include play title, playwright’s name, date of birth, school, if any, home address and home telephone number.
