4 Hurt as Firetruck, Car, Golf Cart Collide

A firetruck, a car and a golf cart collided Thursday night in the Mid-Wilshire area, critically injuring four people, authorities said.
None of the four firefighters was injured in the crash, which occurred at the intersection of 6th Street and Curson Avenue, said L.A. Assistant Fire Chief Tim Manning.
Two women in the car were injured, and a man and a woman who were traveling on the sidewalk in the golf cart were hurt. The injured ranged in age from 17 to 55.
The firetruck was traveling westbound on 6th Street on a medical call when the collision occurred.
Los Angeles police and fire officials were investigating the cause of the accident.
