Woman Dies After Being Hit by Pickup

An elderly woman died early Monday in Buena Park after being struck by a pickup as she tried to cross the street, police said.
The woman, who was between 85 and 90, was not identified pending notification of relatives.
She was walking in the 7400 block of Artesia Boulevard about 5:30 a.m. when she was hit by the pickup, police said. She died at a hospital, police said.
The driver, a 53-year-old man, was not cited, pending an ongoing investigation.
