Los Angeles County sheriff’s detectives are investigating the death of a woman whose minivan rolled into the rear of a restaurant Saturday with her slumped over the steering wheel and bleeding profusely.
A customer at Coco’s restaurant at West Las Tunas Drive and Santa Anita Avenue called police about 3:30 p.m. to report the car bumping into the building. No one in the restaurant was injured, police said.
Arcadia police found the body of the woman, in her 40s, in the driver’s seat, said Lt. Gene Gioia.
