Mom Accused of Killing 1 Son, Shooting Another

A mother was in custody after she allegedly shot and killed her 6-year-old son. A shotgun blast fired at another son was absorbed by the teenager’s Bible, police said.
Leslie Ann Wallace of Fort Myers was later shot by officers and was in critical condition.
Authorities said Wallace, 39, shot her son James at home, then drove to her family’s church where she fired at Kenneth, 16, as he stood outside. The blast hit a Bible and an overcoat the teen was carrying.
