Man Held on Suspicion of Murder in Stabbing

A man was arrested on suspicion of murder after he stabbed another man, authorities said Thursday. Robert Brittain, 45, of Lancaster, stabbed Lawrence Eugene Bumgarner, 53, about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 45800 block of Kingtree Avenue, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Rick Varela said. Brittain is being held without bail.
