A British woman was charged in a security breach at Philadelphia International Airport that forced the evacuation of 2,000 passengers and delayed dozens of flights.
Philadelphia police took the woman, 23, into custody and charged her early Saturday with one count of defiant trespass, a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in prison.
Police did not identify the woman, who allegedly walked through an unstaffed security lane at the airport Friday evening to reach her San Juan, Puerto Rico-bound US Airways flight.
