Democrats to Discuss Surge in Gang Violence

Gang violence in Oxnard will be the topic of discussion at a June 12 meeting of Democrats.
Ventura County Deputy Dist. Atty. Chrystina D. Jenson and a representative from the Oxnard Police Department will speak about the causes of a recent upsurge in gang-related attacks.
The meeting, sponsored by the Greater Oxnard Organization of Democrats, will take place at 7:15 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall, 300 S. Surfside Drive, Port Hueneme.
