Police Ask for Help Finding Woman’s Killer

Officials are seeking the public’s help in finding the killer of a woman kidnapped while walking home from work in Downey.
The body of Ornella Maccari, 18, was found last week near Brea. She is described as 5 feet 4, 120 pounds, with short brown hair. On the night she was killed, she was wearing a black jacket, blue polo shirt and black pants and was last seen walking east on Imperial Highway.
Police ask anyone who may have seen her Thursday night to call the Orange County Sheriff’s Department at (714) 628-7170 or Downey police at (562) 904-2304.
