Getting wired is the hard part
Interesting article by David Colker (“Living on Television’s Cutting Edge,” April 17). I purchased the Gateway, based upon price, which enabled me to get the highest-end Bose sound system.
Your assessment is 100% correct on the installation, as the $150 only gets it up and running, and, yes, the correct wires were not there. But I battled with Gateway and got the installer to come back to install it correctly to the Bose system.
I trust that at this point the salesmen are advising customers they need to purchase “certain additional wires.”
