Festival, Parades, Santa on Holiday Schedule

Ventura’s annual Holiday Street Festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The festival, which will cover nine blocks downtown, will feature about 400 crafts booths, food, entertainment and visits with Santa Claus.
Other holiday events this weekend include two Christmas parades Saturday. Oxnard’s begins at 10 a.m. at 9th and A streets, while Fillmore’s starts at 1 p.m. at 2nd Street and Central Avenue.
In addition, Santa will visit four communities via Metrolink train Sunday.
He will arrive at train stations in Montalvo, at 6175 Ventura Blvd., at 5 p.m.; in Oxnard, at 201 E. 4th St., at 6; in Camarillo, at 30 Lewis Road, at 6:45; and in Moorpark, at 300 High St., at 7:45.
