Katharine Hepburn will be saluted at today’s opening of the Hollywood History Museum as the first inductee for the museum’s wall of fame. The actress, who died June 29, also will be the subject of a tribute Aug. 8 and 9 at the Hollywood Bowl when conductor John Mauceri leads a performance of Aaron Copland’s “A Lincoln Portrait” using Hepburn’s narration from her 1987 recording of the work with Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops.
