Broadcast critics list picks

With movie awards season in full swing after Monday’s Golden Globes nominations, the Broadcast Film Critics Assn. weighed in Wednesday with candidates for its 10th annual Critics Choice Awards.
The group’s nominees for best picture are “The Aviator,” “Collateral,” “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “Finding Neverland,” “Hotel Rwanda,” “Kinsey,” “Million Dollar Baby,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Ray” and “Sideways.”
Best actor nominees are Javier Bardem, “The Sea Inside”; Don Cheadle, “Hotel Rwanda”; Johnny Depp, “Finding Neverland”; Leonardo DiCaprio, “The Aviator”; Jamie Foxx, “Ray”; and Paul Giamatti, “Sideways.”
Best actress nominees are Annette Bening, “Being Julia”; Catalina Sandino Moreno, “Maria Full of Grace”; Imelda Staunton, “Vera Drake”; Hilary Swank, “Million Dollar Baby”; Uma Thurman, “Kill Bill Vol. 2”; and Kate Winslet, “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.”
Winners in these and 16 other categories will be announced Jan. 10 in a ceremony to be telecast on the WB.
