Freda Flier Maddow, 87, a member of the Martha Graham Dance Company from 1937 to 1941 and widow of screenwriter Ben Maddow (“The Asphalt Jungle”), died Dec. 11 in Los Angeles. She danced in the original Graham productions of “Celebration,” “Primitive Mysteries” and others.
