Reporter With Alleged Al Qaeda Ties Arrested

An Al Jazeera reporter indicted in Spain on charges of belonging to an Al Qaeda cell was rearrested after spending more than a year out on bail, court officials said.
Taysir Alouni was arrested in Granada, where he lives. A prosecutor said Alouni posed a flight risk because the National Court this week rejected appeals from him and 20 other terrorism suspects, moving them a step closer to trial.
