Police Kill Suspect in Daniel Pearl Slaying

Pakistani paramilitary police killed a suspected militant wanted in the slaying of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in 2002 and two assassination attempts against President Pervez Musharraf in 2003.
Amjad Hussain Farooqi was killed in a four-hour shootout in southern Pakistan. Information Minister Sheik Rashid Ahmed said two or three other people were arrested.
