Suspect Killed, Warden Wounded in Pot Raid

A Department of Fish and Game warden was injured and a suspect was killed Friday during an early morning marijuana raid. A search was underway for a second suspect.
Warden Kyle Kroll, 25, who was shot in the legs, remains hospitalized after surgery, said department spokesman Steve Martarano.
The unidentified suspect died at the scene, according to Santa Clara County sheriff’s spokesman Terrance Helm.
The raid was near Mt. Umunhum, Helm said.
