Lockheed Delays Profit as Program Costs Grow

Lockheed Martin Corp. agreed to a deferment of its 2004 and 2005 profit for managing development of an early-warning satellite system after the program’s cost jumped $1.2 billion, more than 27%, the Air Force said.
Shares of Lockheed fell 21 cents to $54.26 on the NYSE.
