Looking good for 70
A 70th birthday anniversary bash worthy of a king will honor Elvis
Presley, who would have become a septuagenarian on Jan. 8. Longtime
Presley impersonator Raymond Michael will lead a 24-piece band and seven-voice choir in his “Tribute to Elvis,” which will reunite members of Presley’s inner circle, known as the “Memphis Mafia.” Highlighted during the concert will be a medley of ditties by Ben Weisman, composer of 57 Elvis Presley songs, who will also be in attendance. The concert is a fundraiser for performing arts at California Lutheran University.

Raymond Michael’s “Tribute to Elvis,” Kavli Theatre, Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd, Thousand Oaks, 8 p.m. Saturday. $13-$58. (805) 499-2787.
