Should the ticket have said ‘Okla’?

Re “ ‘Oklahoma!’ Loses Some Weight” (Jan. 20): I paid $67.50 for an orchestra seat for an “Oklahoma” that had less than half of an orchestra (supplemented by what sounded like an electronic device because that’s what it was). The Pantages management tells me they have what amounts to a don’t-ask-don’t-tell policy; if the theatergoer doesn’t ask whether they’re getting a full orchestra, management feels no obligation to tell the truth in their ads.
What a scam! And what a great way to lose subscribers!
