Man Held on Suspicion of Child Endangerment

A baby-sitter found passed out on a sofa was arrested after a toddler in his care was found wandering in a street, and an infant was found playing with a bag of marijuana, authorities said.
Marlon Clark Roberts, 34, was being held at Shasta County jail on suspicion of child endangerment, maintaining a residence for selling drugs and possessing marijuana.
Bail was set at $50,000.
The two children were placed in protective custody while authorities tried to find their mother.
