Update -- Lawrence (seven innings, two runs) outpitched Dessens (four innings, three runs) five days ago in San Diego, but the Dodgers won in 10 innings. Dessens could lose his spot in the rotation if he struggles because Odalis Perez is expected to return from the disabled list before the All-Star break.
