Mother Found Mentally Fit for Murder Trial

A woman accused of killing her 10-month-old daughter by cutting off the baby’s arms has been found mentally competent to stand trial in Dallas on murder charges, her attorney’s office said.
Dena Schlosser, 36, was arrested in November after she told a 911 operator she had severed her baby’s arms. Police found Schlosser covered in blood, holding a knife and listening to a hymn.
