Gunman Opens Fire at Party, Killing the Host

A man was shot to death early Sunday at a party he was holding for his daughter at his home in the 2500 block of East Jefferson Street, police said.
An unidentified gunman opened fired on guests shortly after 2 a.m. from down the block, police said.
The victim’s identity was not released.
