Moreno’s Goals Lift D.C. United

Jaime Moreno scored twice in the first half to lead D.C. United (5-1-3) over host Kansas City, 3-1, Saturday and move within four goals of the MLS career record.

Moreno scored his 98th and 99th goals. Jason Kreis of Real Salt Lake has a league-record 103 goals.

Scott Sealy scored for the Wizards (4-4-1).

Colorado 2, Real Salt Lake 2 -- Kreis scored in the 88th minute and host Salt Lake rallied to earn a tie.

Kreis’ third goal this season came while Real was playing with 10 men after Atiba Harris was ejected for getting his second yellow card of the half, in the 82nd minute.

Salt Lake (2-5-2) is unbeaten in its last three games after starting 0-5-1. Jovan Kirovski scored in the 34th minute to give the Rapids (3-3-2) a 1-0 lead.

Houston 1, New England 1 -- Ryan Cochrane scored his first goal this season with four minutes left to give the Dynamo (4-3-2) a tie at Foxborough, Mass.

The Revolution (3-3-2) took the lead in the 55th minute on Patrick Noonan’s goal.
