Interesting how Republicans, when backed against a wall, seem to find it necessary to have a JFK or FDR speech to enforce their legitimacy as candidates.

The last thing this country needs is more irrationality, superstition and religion in public affairs. Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney does himself and this country an immense disservice. This country needs rational, clear, objective thinking or we are doomed.
We have suffered almost eight years of President Bush’s pompous religiosity, and I’d rather be run over by a tank than see four more years of it.
Every principle this country was founded on cries out against accepting faith in the public square.
