ONE MAN, MANY PASSIONS
Multi-instrumentalist and Australian folk hero Xavier Rudd brings a lot to the table -- or to the stage, as it were, since the one-man band makes use of guitars, shakers, didgeridoos, stomp boxes, harmonica and banjo, among other devices. None of that gets in the way of his heartfelt messages, which include environmental causes and aboriginal rights. His two releases last year for Anti-, “Food in the Belly” and “White Moth,” have solidified his popularity among surfers and peaceniks alike. 9 p.m. today, House of Blues. $20-$22.50. (323) 848-5100
