ANN POWERS’ review of Beck’s new album “Modern Guilt [“Beck, Into the Mystic,” July 8] contained no fewer than 11 references/comparisons to the recent Pixar film “Wall-E.” I haven’t heard the album yet, but it’s already been completely ruined for me.

Please, God, don’t let Ann watch “The Love Guru” before her next review!
