CKE reports 3.2% decline in revenue

CKE Restaurants Inc., owner of the Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s hamburger chains, said fourth-quarter profit fell to $98,000 as sales declined and expenses rose.
Break-even earnings per share compared with net income of $10.3 million, or 15 cents, a year earlier, the Carpinteria, Calif.-based company said. Sales fell 3.2% to $338.1 million.
