Emmy-winning actress and comedian Wanda Sykes will host a new Saturday late-night talk show on Fox this fall that will include commentary on hot-button issues, panel discussions and segments taped outside of the studio.
In its announcement Wednesday, the network did not specify a time slot, but the show likely will fill the 11 p.m. position now occupied by “MADtv,” which is departing in May.
This is Sykes’ second show on Fox. Her first one, “Wanda at Large,” went off the air in 2003 after 19 episodes.
“Yes, my relationship with Fox hasn’t been the best, but if Rihanna can go back to Chris Brown, I can go back to Fox. Oprah tried to talk me out of it, but I think Fox has changed,” Sykes said in a Fox news release.
