Evergreen Lodge, near Yosemite National Park, dates to 1921, but the property was renovated and expanded in 2005. This summer, 24 more cedar cabins, spread among towering old-growth trees, were added. It’s about a mile outside the park’s northwestern corner, near the Hetch Hetchy entrance, and offers numerous outdoor activities. Or you can just relax with the family during a night of s’mores in front of the fireplace.
The deal: The Travel-Ticker special offers 40% off fall rates. Get a new, traditional cabin starting at $99 per night Sundays through Thursdays until Oct. 28. Just use the rate code “T09C.”
