Re “GI’s dad to be deported,” Oct. 13
Janos Lutz should not be deported. He is a legal permanent resident, and few details have truly been given about why he’s being deported in the first place.
There is the fact that he had charges for grand larceny in 1987 and was found driving under the influence. But does this matter that much?
This man is simply a flawed human being. Does being imperfect constitute deportation? If this were the case, no immigrant would be safe, as nobody is perfect.
Lutz has already paid for his crimes through our justice system, so why would we need to deport him?
