Former owners of estate read like a ‘Who’s Who’ of stars

What do Jon Peters, Pete Sampras, Kenny G, Kate Jackson and Asher William have in common? They have all owned this 1.5-acre estate in the Beverly Crest area that is for sale at $6.795 million.
Movie producer Peters bought the estate from tennis great Sampras more than a decade ago for $3 million. Sampras bought the place in 1998 from saxophonist Kenny G for $2.5 million. Actress Jackson of “Charlie’s Angels” fame purchased the property from TV producer and director William in 1983 for $954,000.
Built in 1976, the recently remodeled 5,076 square feet of living space contains a great room, a formal dining room, a kitchen that opens to a family room with a wet bar, a den, an office, five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Vaulted and beamed ceilings and hardwood floors are among interior treatments.
The crisp-looking Traditional-style home is two stories with white exteriors and black shutters.
The 1.5 acres of lush grounds include a tennis court custom designed for Sampras, a guesthouse and a swimming pool with a spa. Mature trees, lawn, fountains and red-brick terrace contribute to the bucolic atmosphere.
