‘NCIS’ creator Donald P. Bellisario parts ways with longtime Studio City home

Legendary television writer-producer Donald P. Bellisario has wrapped up a finale of sorts in Studio City, selling his longtime home in the Fryman Estates neighborhood for $5.85 million, records show.

Obscured from the street by a thicket of mature trees, the Traditional-style house sits on more than an acre of grounds and has a guest house and a stone-rimmed swimming pool.

The two-story home, built in 1940, features hardwood floors, two fireplaces and large picture windows that take in leafy views. The roughly 5,300-square-foot interior holds formal living and dining rooms, four bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Bellisario, 83, is the co-creator of and writer for such television series as “Magnum P.I.,” “Quantum Leap,” “JAG” and “NCIS.” He wrote and directed the 1988 thriller “Last Rites.”

He bought the property 35 years ago for $1.3 million, public records show.
