NHL all-star Marc-Andre Fleury lists Las Vegas home for $2.5 million

Hockey goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, who this week was selected to his fourth NHL All-Star team, has put his custom home in the Southern Highlands area of Las Vegas on the market for $2.5 million.

Fleury isn’t the only hockey player with ties to the single-story house. The 16-year veteran bought the property two years ago from former Ducks and Canadiens defenseman Sheldon Souray for $2.3 million, public records show.

The Tuscan-vibe contemporary, built in 2015, features a little over 6,000 square feet of interior, Venetian plaster walls and pocketing glass doors that open to a covered patio space and a swimming pool.

The floor plan includes an open-plan kitchen, a den with a fireplace, an office, five bedrooms and 4.75 bathrooms. A barrel-rolled ceiling finished in herringbone-patterned brick creates visual interest in the dining room.

Outside, steps lead down to a sunken conversation area with a fire pit. Also on the property is a detached casita.

Fleury, the first overall pick in the 2003 NHL entry draft, spent his first 13 seasons with the Penguins, winning three Stanley Cups with the team (2009, 2016 and 2017). The 34-year-old joined the Las Vegas Golden Knights in 2017 as an expansion draftee and last year led the team to the Stanley Cup finals.

As a member of Team Canada, the Quebec native won a gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
