Halle Berry had a fall at work Tuesday night and sustained a minor head injury that sent her briefly to the hospital.
The 45-year-old actress was shooting a fight sequence for her latest flick, “The Hive,” when she fell and hit her head, L.A. Now reported.
“She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released,” a representative said in a statement. “She’ll continue production as planned.”
An ambulance rushed Berry to Cedars Sinai Medical Center just after 10 p.m., TMZ said, after she developed possible concussion symptoms.
Accident-prone Berry, mother of 4-year-old Nahla, broke her foot in Spain last year on the set of “Cloud Atlas,” causing her to miss the Academy Awards in February.
(When paparazzo photos emerged of Berry hobbling on crutches, she set the unofficial world record for “hottest human being in a cast.”)
She broke her arm while filming “Gothika” in 2003 and injured her eye while shooting “Die Another Day” the previous year. In 2004, she was hospitalized after being hit on the head with lighting equipment on the set of “Catwoman.”
Berry plays a 911 operator trying to save an abducted girl in “The Hive,” which hits theaters in 2013.
