The California Cookbook expands: Search almost 5,000 recipes

Through the years, the Los Angeles Times has published many cookbooks. But we’ve never done something like this.
Starting today, our L.A. Times California Cookbook is nearly doubling in size to almost 5,000 recipes. That’s the equivalent of 25 full cookbooks.
All of them are available in an easy-to-use, searchable database, conveniently divided into categories, and illustrated with thousands of high-quality, full-color photographs.
And, of course, unlike most cookbooks, you know these recipes will work because they’ve been honed to perfection in our Test Kitchen. A guarantee you’ve come to know and trust over the years.
The L.A. Times California Cookbook pulls together our best recipes from the last decade and even earlier.
You’ll find dishes from great chefs such as Thomas Keller and Nancy Silverton, famous food writers such as Marion Cunningham, David Lebovitz and Deborah Madison, and our staff writers including Test Kitchen director Noelle Carter and California Cook columnist Russ Parsons.
No matter what it is you’re hungry for, with nearly 5,000 recipes, you’re almost guaranteed to find something that will make you happy.
