A 14-year-old boy was arrested Thursday on suspicion of making a bomb threat at a school in Oceanside, police said.
The teen had been suspended for carrying a knife to El Camino High School when he posted the online threat, police said. He was arrested within hours.
The arrest marked the third incident this week in San Diego County involving a teenager allegedly making threats.
On Wednesday, an eighth-grade student was arrested for making a threat aimed at El Cajon Valley High School.
On the same day, sheriff’s deputies announced that they are investigating a 14-year-old for making threats against Mission Hills High in San Marcos.
